While being a teacher is important to Nina, being a mom is her favorite and most important job. We have decided that Nina will stay home for the first year and a half, or so, with our second child, as she did for Sabrina. When she does go back to work, she will teach part-time (2-3 days a week) as she does now. Sabrina goes to an amazing preschool two days a week, which has given her the opportunity to grow socially and intellectually. A couple of times a month during the school year, Nina works an extra day. On those days, Sabrina spends the day with either set of grandparents and looks forward to her special time with them. Eventually, when both of our children are in school full time, Nina will have the same holidays and summers off. It's a perfect schedule! |
