We live in a fantastic part of Pennsylvania, between the city and the country, in the suburbs of Philadelphia. There's so much to see and do. Our community has so much to offer, including award-winning schools, a great recreation department, weekly story time at the library, and neighborhood events like a Halloween parade and Easter egg hunt. We have a park three blocks from our home with new equipment we love to put to good use. There's also a large national park nearby with walking and hiking trails galore. We like to take advantage of being near a big city with its many cultural events and family-oriented things to see and do, such as the Please Touch Museum. A short drive west, and we are in the heart of Amish country with working farms, hourse and buggy rides, and an amusement park. Our neighborhood has a mix of older residents and young families from different backgrounds. We like this diversity and we hope that by exploring the communities and cultures around us, our children will come to share our values of tolerance and respect for people from all backgrounds, religions and walks of life.
