From day 1, Sabrina has shown herself to be a very alert, happy and curious child. As a newborn, she wanted to be held facing outward to study the world, especially people. Early on we could tell she had a lot to say but was not ready, developmentally, to speak so we began to teach her baby sign language. Once she started signing, she had a pathway to communicate more effectively and, boy, she never looked back!
Now that Sabrina is about 3 years old, we see she has many interests & talents that are emerging. One is her love of music & movement. She dances and sings to herself all the time, making up lyrics. Here she's twirling with her buddy Taylor in the middle of a store. Another is her highly active imagination. Here she is pretending her toys are her cousins and she's driving them places in the bus she made out of blocks. Sabrina's verbal skills along with her bubbly, extroverted and inquisitive nature draw people into the most charming and humorous conversations with her. She is so much fun to be with and to parent!
